"Leading Lines Of Love"

"Leading Lines Of Love"

OK, no giggles on the title - Its the best it gets today. Hey, it's about the image anyway and I really like this image. I made this image at the Wedding Shootout on Wednesday. We had just left the inside of the church and I was walking around looking for interesting lines that I might work into my composition. These long shadows were streaking across the side of the church - once again, I thought they would be great leading lines for my portrait of the bride. I turned the bride away from the light putting here face in the deep shadows. The off-camera Quantum supplied the key-light adding its own dramatics to the scene. I placed the subject in the bottom right quadrant of the image area to accentuate the leading lines of the building shadows leading to the bride. Camera specs; Canon 40D fitted with 10-22m lens at 22mm, F18 @ 1/200 second, ISO 200. Enjoy! -David

  1. That is a GREAT looking photo! Very Contemporary!
Looks kinda dark for a Ziser, though.
