This image was also made during my KPPA MasterClass Workshop this past Tuesday. In fact, it was made shortly after the image I posted yesterday. I liked the look of the composition of the bride among the pillars, but I didn't like how the lighting looked when I illuminated her through the umbrella. The pillars seemed to lose some of the inherent beauty when illuminated with the flash. I decided to use my "Hollywood" lighting technique discussed earlier in my blog - here is the link. It put the light directly on the bride without hitting the pillars for a beautiful illumination on the bride. Camera specs; Canon 40D fitted with 24-105mm IS lens at 97mm, F5.6 @ 1/8 second at 800 ISO. Enjoy! --David
