A Few Quick Updates

I checked the DigitalProTalk Flickr group and we only have two submissions for the "rear sync" flash challenge. I'll let it run the month and see if we get any other interest. Thanks to Gavin Jensen and Thad Lawrence for being the first to submit. Everyone else, come on let's see what you're doing. Also, Look for a Photo Dump of some of the coolest images uploaded so far - Mr. Viltrakis - who I featured earlier is our lead contributor. So, hey, post some of your best wedding, portrait, landscape, abstract, fine art images to the DigitalProTalk Flickr group right here for all to share.

Hey gang, got to go - back to the real world. I'll see everybody for tomorrow's Down and Dirty Portraits" on Technique Tuesday, plus over 1000 Photoshop tutorials, and, of course, much more. Au Revoir, --David

Flicker Fame Forever

So you want to get the most notice out of your image posting over at Flickr. Well, here is your step by step road map to do just that. Brian Aurer over at EpicEdits, one of the hottest new photo sites out there, has a great guest post by Martin Gummel on just that subject. It's literally a 10 step plan for Flickr success. Heck, I always said, "The best way to be the best in about anything you do is just work harder than the other guys." Check out the EpicEdit link right here. By the way, you may even see an article or two from me over there in the near future.

Flickr Group "Backlighting Assignment" Recap

Hey gang, thanks to all who posted to the "Backlighting Assignment" over at the DigitalProTalk Flickr group. I'm still kind of new to the Flickr thing so bear with me.

Let me have your feedback from some of our readers about future assignments, too. What would you like to share or see shared? You can check out all the images right here. Or you can just view the "Backlighting Assignment" images right here.

Readers Comments

The DigitalProTalk blog is getting some nice suggestions from it's readers. It's been suggested that I start a Flickr Group for our community here. I will look into it next week when things slow down here a bit. I'll and keep you posted. It's looks like a GO though. Stay tuned.
