Technique Tuesday - "Our Emerging Future"

I posted the image a while ago and receive a request as to how I did it - it was Photoshop all the way. I was hired to photograph 2 newborn twins, which were only 3 weeks old - these were teeny babies. The session lasted about 3 hours and the babies only stopped crying for about 10 minutes of that time.

My lighting assistant and I were literally following mom and dad around the living room to grab whatever we could of the babies. When I got back to the studio, I thought I had nothing. I pondered what I was going to show the client for about two weeks. Over that time period, I was experimenting with Photoshop on a few new techniques. What resulted from my experimentation was an entire series of dramatic images of the babies images. Here is how I did it.
