"Looking For The Limo"

"Looking For The Limo"

I remember capturing literally hundreds of great candid images at this wedding. This was one of them. I had just completed photographing a group shot of all the girls from the stairway to the second floor. After wrapping the shot, the group broke up and the two little girls headed for the window to see if the limo, in this case, a "limo" that looked like a train - yes, a train - it was quite the deal. Anyway, as they peeked out, their mom joined them in looking for the limo. I thought the action, everyone peeking out the window combined with the rich, saturated colors of the bridesmaids gown and accented with the bouquets made for a wonderful image. Camera specs; Nikon D1x fitted with 18-35mm lens at 35mm, F5.0 @ 1/13 second, ISO 400. Enjoy! -David

Thanks for all your blogs, always something to think about from them!
I'v noticed that you have changed your digital gear quite a bit over the years as technology has improved, are you now happy with the new Canon 5D MK2 or are you looking at the latest Nikons?

    Thanks
