"Lovely Lines"
©David A. Ziser
Here is another image captured on my Wedding Shoot Out at Photoshop World, Las Vegas this past Wednesday. Yes, it shows – I’m a sucker for the wide angle lens. The Mandalay’s Bay’s architecture just lends itself well to the wide angle lens. With all that’s going on in the background, why would you ever want to go in close losing the beauty of the surrounds? Look how the stairway leads right into the bride’s right arm bringing the viewer’s eye directly to the subject. Notice too how the railing and stairs behind the bride also lead your eyes directly to her. The rest of the wonderful architectural design elements further enhances the presentation. Camera specs; Canon 5D Mark II fitted with 24-105mm IS lens at 24mm, F 5.6 @ 1/10 second handheld, ISO 1600. Enjoy! -David
Another point might be that the people at the top of the stairway are reduced to the point to where they don't distract at all.

ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteOnce again I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration. I met you and LaDawn in Kansas City for the Digital Wake-up Call Tour and I attended your Photoshop World Pre-con and I am so happy I attended both because it felt like they were extensions of each other. I am currently saving my pennies for your Digital Master Class next fall.
The information I have learned from you has benefitted me greatly. I truly appreciate you sharing your knowledge with your students!
Best regards,
Kris
