I made this image this past Tuesday during the photography portion of my Master Class. We had access to the Presidential Suite at the Marriott Rivercenter. What a cool room!! The bride was resting in a nearby chair as I made my way to the balcony to check out the compositional possibilities. As I looked over the railing I saw the beautiful soft window lighting illuminating her face - I loved it and made the exposure. Notice that with the bride looking down, our eyes are drawn more to her beautiful gown. The soft high key adds further to the simplicity of design in this photograph. Camera specs; Canon 40D fitted with 70-300mm DO IS lens at 250mm, F5.6 @ 1/60 second, ISO 400. Enjoy! -David
