"Afterneen Tranquility"
© David A. Ziser

I love this image. I used a Canon 70-200mm IS lens mounted on my 20D. The exposure was 1/400 second @ F4.0 at ISO 100. The direction of light was supplied by my off-camera Quantum flash set to full power. I love how the wide aperture softened the background so nicely. The higher shutter speed let the flash sync with only the top part of the image area which helped create that beautiful dimensional lighting on the bride's face. A great classic portrait!

  1. Hi David,
Was the lens used the f2.8, or f4.0? Since your exposure was f4.0 I couldn't tell.
    Thanks,
    Jerry
