The Making Of A Fire Dragon

OK, OK, it's not your regular Photoshop wedding tutorial, but if you really want to check out the intriguing process of creating this image to the right - click on it for a larger view, it really looks cool - check out the making of a Fire Dragon right here. The entire process is a great exercise in using many of the Photoshop tools we as wedding photographers may not use too often. I found it very insightful to see how Vlad Gerasimov pulled off the process. I figure it would take me about 24 hours to get to same result, but he does make it look easy. Vlad has a who slew of creative tutorials - just about all rated 5-Stars - on how to create outer worldly and other worldly objects right here. Kind of fun to see.

Hey gang, that's it for me today. We just got our new Epson 9880 ink-jet printer delivered and yours truly is chief of the installation department - boxes to unpack, instructions to read, software to install - Oh My! See everybody tomorrow for Wild and Woolly Wednesday - or how I move 4000 images from one wedding through my work flow. See you then. -David

  1. David,

Thanks for all you great tips. Since you mentioned that the new printer arrived I wonder if you could give us some of your thoughts and ideas on printing, ie. paper type, soft proofing, page layout, etc.

Having just taken possession of an Epson 3800, my learning curve has just taken another sharp upturn.
