And Speaking of Snow Photography...

Or more aptly - Snowflake photography - let me ask publicly the question that I know privately has been burning a hole in your heart to ask - When was the first snowflake photographed? Well, dear reader, it was in 1885 by master snowflake photographer - Wilson "Snowflake" Bentley.

OK, all joking aside, Mr. Bentley photographed over 5,000 snowflakes in his lifetime - and that was way before Digital. Check out the short, fascinating piece on Mr. Bentley right here. You can even pick up Mr. Bentley's snowflake book right here. OK, I know your hooked now - check out this site for everything you ever wanted to know about snowflakes right here - more photography too. And finally, for the true snowflake aficionado - growing snowflake crystals movies right here.
