"Beauty In Contrasts"
© David A. Ziser
I made this image at my Wedding Shootout yesterday - It's one of my favorites. The sun was very bright, the temperature was about 100 degrees and the contrasts of the scene were amazing. I positioned the bride so that her face was in complete shadow then had our class assistant, Steven, bring a very strong light in from the right side via my Quantum flash. The small light source created the flattering, sharp edged shadows on our bride's face which complimented what I had in the background. I love the result. Camera specs; Canon 40D fitted with 10-22mm lens at 10mm, F18 @ 1/200 second, ISO 200.
Enjoy! -David
