We had a great class and a great shoot yesterday. Having the opportunity to photograph around the hotel at Mandalay Bay is always fun. The architecture, color, and lines really help create some amazing compositions. Of course work in a public area is always a bit of a challenge because of all the hotel guests and convention attendees wanting to check out the action. So what do you do? You keep smiling, keep shooting, practice your patience and wait till they disappear behind your subject , then make the shot. We were off and running by 12 p.m. and finally wrapped about 6:30 p. m. We all had a great time.
LaDawn and I headed over to the speakers dinner at Maggianno's and got a chance to catch up with some old friends and just relax a bit over dinner. OK, here comes the really cool part... John Paul Caponigro comes up to say HI and suggests we pull forces and "team blog" the Photoshop World event.
Here is the deal, several of us will be reporting on Photoshop World till it wraps on Saturday. Each of us has our own perspective of what we will see, our new product and technique discoveries, So the overall view as presented by each of us should give all our readers a good feel for what is going on. I said, "Count me in." So be sure to check out the following links of my Team Blogging Buddies below and follow the Las Vegas happenings!
Corey Barker; John Paul Caponigro; Dave Cross; Laurie Excell; Martin Evening; Scott Kelby; Deke McClelland; Joe McNally; John Nack; Moose Peterson; Jeff Schewe; Colin Smith; Ben Willmore
