Since today is Inspiration Friday, I thought I’d post an inspirational sunrise for you. This image was made on a trip to Annapolis, MD a few years ago. We were staying right on the water and were treated to these spectacular sunrises for 5 straight days. It seemed each new day’s sunrise was better than the previous day’s spectacle.
This image was made about 30 minutes after the sun broke above the horizon. We were taking an early morning stroll through the town and eventually found this vantage point for this beautiful sunrise. This morning's rich colors, the sky textures, and water reflections combined for a stunningly beautiful image.
I tweaked the image ever so slightly in Lightroom bringing up the Fill Light a bit and pumping the Vibrance slider up just slightly.
Camera specs; Canon 40D fitted with 10-22mm lens set at 22mm, F16 @ 1/400 second, ISO 800. Enjoy! -David
