"Me and My Pals"

This is just a simple, fun wedding photograph. It represents exactly the type of image I want to capture for my clients. What makes it special to me? First, it's wonderful, spontaneous expression of all the girls coaxed by me asking them to give each other a group hug. It just works every time.
I also love the rich red color of the gowns set against the darker green colors of the foliage. The group just seems to pop out of the picture. Part of what makes that happen is the use of the off-camera flash creating the dimensional look on the image.
It's the sum of all three elements, expression, color, and lighting that make this image such a fun photograph for the client.
Camera specs: Canon 7D fitted with 70-200mm IS lens at 150mm, F 4.0 @ 1/250 second, ISO 200. Enjoy! -David
