"Twilight Bride"

I captured this image about a month ago during one of my urban bridal sessions. I think it has kind of an eerie feel to it (hence the title) but I think that's because of the bride's expression and my use of the super wide angle lens.
I was just playing with the compositional elements, lighting, and extreme wide angle-ness of the lens. Because of my close proximity to the subject, I introduced a slight bit of distortion to her face that added to the unusual look of the portrait.
Would this qualify as a stunning bridal portrait? On some levels, probably not. Does it still qualify as an unusual portrait? I think so. Remember, the photographic creative process is the combination of all things visual and I believe the visual elements came together for this alternative style bridal pictorial.
Quantum at 1/4 power through Zumbrella camera right.
Camera specs: Canon 7D fitted with Sigma 8-16mm super wide angle lens at 16mm, F5.6 @ 1/50 second, ISO 200. Enjoy! -David
I love this shot David! I would have liked it even more if you would have shot it at something like 1.8 with the 24 1.4 on the full frame 5D Mark II. Background is way too sharp for my taste. A bit distracting. Still cool!
