"Room With a View"

We spent our Wednesday evening and Thursday morning at the Sheraton hotel right next to the Meadowlands sports complex. The receptionist was kind enough to put us into one of her favorite hotel "city view" rooms. It was quite the sight to view the New York City skyline as we peered out our hotel window.
It was quite the sight, but what was more intriguing was how much the view changed as the lighting changed from afternoon to evening to amazing sunrise of the next morning. Each view was as exciting as the next. This image today taken right after first light happens to be one of my favorites. As you’ll see from the camera specs, the light was not very bright yet.
It's a simple shot that captures the Empire State Building on the right and the Chrysler Building near the middle of the frame. The bright range of morning light and color is what makes the image for memorable to me. I hope you enjoy it too.
Camera specs; Canon 7D fitted with 18-200mm lens at 80mm, F5.0 @ 1/20 second, ISO 2500. Enjoy! -David
