Quick Hit Monday: Emory U Offers Wedding Classes; More Lightroom Resources; and Top Photo Blog Posts of 2010

Good Morning Everybody,

Hey, today’s post is going to be rather short, but still informative, because I had little time at the computer over the weekend.  My daughter, Elizabeth, arrived Saturday in Orland and we’ve been hanging with her the last few days.  Today we head out and pick up my son, Aaron in Ormond Beach and plan to visit with him today. We are leaving shortly so let’s get right to it.

Hey gang, that’s it for me today. I’m calling it “family” day today and cutting things a little short.  Plan to stop by tomorrow for a great Technique Tuesday.

Our last two episodes discussed how to photograph people on location.  Tomorrow I’ll walk you through a complete shoot of one of those location portraits.  I think you will be amazing at the amount of variety that you can pull off in such a short time.

Time for me to hit the road – see ya’ tomorrow

Adios, David

  1. Hey, David! This comment isn't related to today's post but I just wanted to tell you that I got your SunSpotz reflector for Christmas and we finally had enough sun this past weekend to try it out. I LOVE it! It was so great to produce those nice soft backgrounds outside while getting the perfect light at the same time. Going to keep this with me all the time. Thanks for another great product!

  2. Long time follower. Love your videos on Kelby Training and your most recent book! I actually just graduated from Emory University last may. I remember looking at their Evenings at Emory program. They often had some interesting courses however this is a first for the wedding photography session. Unfortunately, Emory's normal tuition did not cover the program.
