"Playing In The Breeze"
©David A. Ziser
I made this image near the end of the wedding shoot. We were heading into early evening with the sun getting closer to the horizon hence the strong backlighting on the scene. This shot is strictly available light. My exposure was set for the bride's face. The wind was just starting to gust and the bride was trying to keep the veil out of her face. Instead of waiting for the wind to calm down, I just kept shooting. I ended up with a great series of "windy" images. This is one of my favorites. Camera specs; Canon 1D Mark III fitted with 70-200mm IS lens at 115, F5.6 @ 1/640 second, ISO 800.
Enjoy! -David
