This image was made at Drees Pavilion, one of the most popular places to have a wedding reception in the greater Cincinnati area. The reason is obvious as the view of Cincinnati/Northern KY is marvelous. The technique is fairly simple. I use a high ISO - usually 16oo - to pick up the city lights. My assistant is about 12-15 feet behind the bride and groom with his Quantum flash at 1/2 power. I select a longer focal length lens to increase the size of the city in the background - wide angle lenses only make things smaller in this case. It always makes a great image. Enjoy! --David
