Here is one more variation of my wide angle ventures last weekend. This image was made with my 8mm Sigma Fisheye on my full frame 5D MkII. I cropped it square to get an image in the same aspect ratio that I was able to get back in my Hassy days with my $6000 30mm Distagon Fisheye lens. So what do you think of the 3 wide angle variations this week - all quite dramatic. It's certainly a different way of seeing, isn't it? Camera specs; Canon 5D Mark II fitted with 8mm Sigma Fisheye lens, F5.6 @ 1/60 second. ISO 3200. Enjoy! -David

If I were to think as being the client, I would prefer the one stitched in CS4 but as a photographer I like the square format. Thanks, Brian F. Tuesday is just around the corner!
ReplyDeleteI love the square crop. It makes me long for the days of my Hassy!
