Fisheye Continued... (technique Wednesday)
More of the same but completely different - that's the topic today. It was a fairly long post yesterday so I'm adding a few more ideas again today. Check out the first image below - I took it at the beach yesterday as I was being chased by the waves. The point was to keep the horizon line dead center as to cause no distortion and therefore not hint that a fisheye lens was being used. Here are three reception fisheye ideas. One from overhead, one from the floor and one, in your face. For the overhead and on the floor shoot, be sure to place the wide angle diffuser over your flash so get get the maximum amount of flash coverage on the scene. For this "in you face pic", I also dragged the shutter - slowed down the shutter - to pick up the ambient light of this fantastic Bar Mitzvah party. Keep the wheels turning - there are a million ideas out there. How about adding you personal images, some Flickr posts, over at the DigitalProTalk Flickr group - remember, add and tag your images with "Fisheye". We will post the best right here. Here is the link to DigitalProTalk's Flickr group. See ya' there.
