Good Late Afternoon/Early Evening Everybody,
I sure hope the weather is as wonderful in your part of the world as it is here today in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area. Were hitting mid-60s with blue skies and white puffy clouds – sure a far cry from last week’s tornadoes. You can almost smell Spring in the air. I'm going to make this post short and sweet because it's getting late in the day and I need to organized my equipment for my Bar Mitzvah temple shoot tomorrow.
How To Photograph Anyone - Clay Blackmore Announces New Tour
That's right, my good friend Clay Blackmore has recently announced his new "How To Photograph Anyone" tour kicking off March 24 in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Clay I have been friends for a long, long time and I'm more than happy to help spread the word about his tour.

Photo Pro Expo Image Extraordinaire
As you know, we wrapped our PhotoPro Expo about a month ago. It was a huge success and we’re already planning for next year. One of the highlights of the show was our Westcott Fantasy Model Shootout.
I haven't found enough time to look at all the images submitted but I did receive an e-mail from David Steagall who sent me one of the most amazing image composites from that model shoot-out.
I think it shows a level of creativity one can attain when they put their hearts and souls into a shoot. There were about 1 million photographers, O.K. maybe that’s a slight exaggeration, gathered around the Westcott booth trying to capture an image or two of our great-looking models. David took it to a brand-new level, spent some time getting his best shot, worked in Photoshop, and produced one of the most striking images I think I've seen from that shoot.
Congrats to David for producing such an remarkable image. You can catch more of David’s work right here.
Featured Wedding Photographer Of The Week
For the next several weeks I plan to make this section a special part of our DigitalProTalk blog. Unlike many of our readers, I spend a lot of time on the web scouring the Internet for great images, great stories, great photographers whose work I share with you, our DPT readers.
A few weeks ago, while in Las Vegas I met a photographer at the PictoBooks Album booth. I was browsing through the images in one of the albums and I was blown away by the outstanding quality and creativity of the work I was seeing before my eyes.
I made a comment to the gentleman standing in the booth about the albums. He humbly informed me that he had taken all the photographs. I took one more look at the images and was mesmerized by the composition, the color and the impact each photograph presented. Dan Doke introduced himself as a photographer who had captured those images.
I had heard Dan's name many times in the past and knew he was a talented photographer but I never had a chance to meet him personally. This was a special moment when I got to shake the hand of one of the most talented photographers in the field. Dan hails from the New England area and is one of the most successful and sought after photographers in the area. This week, Dan, I'm naming you Wedding Photographer of the Week at DigitalProTalk.
I invite all of our readers to head over to Dan's site right here and explore all the wonderful imagery he has on display. It is truly amazing to behold. Don't just check the wedding link either check all the other links he has on this site including the Dance link, Portrait link, and the Editorial link and I think you too will be inspired to raise your photography to a much higher level.
It's always such a joy for me to get a chance to view such amazing images and I hope this new addition to DigitalProTalk will do the same for you. I have several great photographers in mind whose work I plan to feature. So stay tuned and prepare to be inspired.

Hey gang that's it for me today. It's about the end of the day and I still have a few more errands to run before I call it quits. The sun is still shining, there's a slight breeze in the air, and I went to enjoy the last minutes of day light. Everybody have a wonderful rest of the day and I'll plan to see you soon.
– David
Thanks for the code for the Clay Blackmore presentation. Looking forward to it.
