Here is one more image I made while in Baton Rouge - I promise to get back to wedding images next week. The small blue rectangular shapes of the windows contrasting with the bright yellow angular lines of the cranes I thought made an interesting composition. It's a photograph that's just fun to look at. Camera specs; Canon 5D mark II fitted with 24-105mm IS lens at 84mm, F7.1 @ 1/250 second, ISO 100. Enjoy! -David

Hi David - can you get us a discount on FotoFusion, per chance? Thanks for all you do for us. Brian F.
ReplyDeleteDavid, thank you for the seminar last night in Houston. It was great in many ways. I especially enjoyed the visual format you supplied with your information. I'm a visual learner so the slideshow went a long way with me! I will remember to make your next tour here and I have told many of my colleagues what they missed. They are frowning!!
ReplyDeleteHi David
ReplyDeleteI have a basic question. It has nothing to do with today's post. You often use off camera flash in manual mode and then use the on-camera flash as fill. My question: Do you use your on camera flash in Ettl mode or manual? I would guess you use it in ettl mode but when I do that, I get very inconsisten results. I use a Canon 1ds mk III and 580ex II. I have a PW in the camera pc socket triggering the off-camera flash and the 580ex on top of the camera in ettl mode. This setup gives me very inconsistent results from the on camera ettl flash. I wonder why?
