Technique Tuesday: Environmental Portraits – Part 3

Good Afternoon Everybody,

We’ve had a fantastic time hanging with my son and daughter these last few days.  That’s left little time to get things organized for the DPT blog this week.  But no problem, I’ve still got a cool Technique Tuesday heading your way today and it’s one of my favorites.  I hope you enjoy it.  Here we go.

Environmental Portraits – Part 3

1280x800 - Location Portraits Part 3For the last few Technique Tuesday episodes I‘ve been featuring images from several location shoots trying to show how easy it is to quickly compose and light your subject with only a limited amount of time to capture the shot.

Today’s post is a complete walk through of one of those sessions.  In a matter of less that 30 minutes, you’ll see me move through 5 locations with my subject and create many unique and different portrait images.

The point of today’s tutorial is show how you can compose creatively, light quickly, and capture some great results that will please you and your clients.  Why not hit the PLAY button below and enjoy the show.

Hey everybody, that’s it for me today.  We head back home tomorrow after a great stay here in Orlando. But, we’re only home for a day and then we’re off to San Antonio, TX for the Imaging USA conference.  That doesn’t give us much time time to change out the suitcases, but that’s life ;~)

See ya’ soon, David
