"Leaving Boston"
©David A. Ziser
I like the title of today's image because we are leaving Boston today. But the image was actually made on the return trip from our whale watch excursion last Saturday. The weather forecast was calling for scattered thundershowers later in the afternoon and the then brewing storm was gathering over Boston. This wide angle perspective enhances the feeling of impending bad weather. It's the structure of the clouds throughout then entire sky wonderfully and dramatically captured with the 114.5 degree view of the Sigma lens that adds the dramatic impact to the shot. I love it. Camera specs: Canon 7D fitted with 8-16mm Sigma super wide angle lens at 8mm, F 16 @ 1/400 second, ISO 320. Enjoy! -David
