I think it's fair to say that the wedding is a fairly public event in that there's no right to privacy for guests a wedding party at that event. Because of this fact I've never sought model releases from the rest of the wedding party.

I'm certainly not an expert in law on this point and would suggest that you ask some others their thoughts on this.

Hope this helps, David
David Ziserhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02674227631785266632noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17534827.post-30938958550125916662012-08-13T09:43:24.011-04:002012-08-13T09:43:24.011-04:00The one thing that really caught my ear while watc...The one thing that really caught my ear while watching this informative video was that we're there not to capture the sharpness, but to capture the moments of the specific event. I've found myself and friends obsessing with getting tact sharpness in our photos and throwing out great moments just because it didn't seem sharp enough. Thanks a lot for reminding us about what's truly important and I learned a great deal out of this video and the others in your Wedding Weekend series!Ernie Ehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07186617921590863235noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17534827.post-34513885787766803402012-08-12T23:16:10.801-04:002012-08-12T23:16:10.801-04:00Mr. Ziser,

They are a tremendous help and I look very forward to getting the chance to put these tips to use. The only wedding that I have had the honor of shooting so far was my brother's wedding, and a last minute wedding of a friend of mine while in flight school. I wish I had seen your videos prior to those two shoots. Great stuff and I look forward to seeing more. Thank you again for spending the time and effort to put this together for us novices.
Thanks and God Bless...
Ben RegisterBen Registerhttp://www.benregisterphotography.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17534827.post-50364736689585168162012-08-08T09:59:24.952-04:002012-08-08T09:59:24.952-04:00David,

Who should sign model releases to protect ourselves when posting candid group photos, like a wedding or rehearsal, on-line?

EdEdwardhttp://edwardphotos.zenfolio.comnoreply@blogger.com
